I received my first camera when I was eight, ever since then I have loved photography. I work at it episodically, based on my workload and opportunity. I frequently plan vacations around what I can photograph. Being trained as a biologist and natural historian, I am fascinated by plants and animals and will tend to take pictures of them over anything else.
